Importance of Using Related Keywords in the Url:
- It helps search engines understand a webpage better, but the benefit is smaller than the keywords used in the content.
- Search engines use keywords in URL as one of many ranking signals.
Which Keywords Should be used in the URL?
Here, in my post, the main keyword is “related keywords in url”. The related or secondary keywords for this main keywords are:
- SEO-friendly URL
- keywords in URL for SEO
- using keywords in website URLs
- URL optimization
- SEO best practices for URLs
If i used a secondary keywords “SEO-friendly URL” in this post url, it would not attract viewers who are finding contents using the main keywords “Related Keyword in Url”. So, keywords in the URL should be more specific and relevant to a post or content.
